About Kathleen Deyo

Kathleen Deyo’s bio is far from typical.  Her family noticed her psychic ability by age four when little Kathleen made predictions in a matter of fact manner.  Her grandmother had precognitive dreams and migraines. Kathleen grew up in a haunted house and as an adult she has worked as a full trance medium and ghost buster. She knew how to read palms by the third grade.  She sat in on many seances growing up and her family was totally supportive of her gift.

People say Kathleen Deyo has an uncanny ability to read an individual’s current situation and future circumstances.  In addition, Kathleen has predicted world and political events including the Tiananmen Square Massacre and the underground whereabouts of Saddam Hussein.

She enjoys voice readings the most.  She asks for the full name of anyone she is reading.  It does not matter of the person is deceased or at a distance.  Her clientele often email her after a reading and the testimonials fill drawers in her apartment.  With a natural kindness and empathy, Kathleen’s clientele confide that her insights and impressive accuracy are usurped only by her wonderful caring, warm personality.  She looks and sounds like everyone else despite her unusual childhood and work with the paranormal.

Ms. Deyo comments that she is getting used to being a Halloween feature, but she still finds it undignified and out right embarrassing. She is better known as co-author of the Book of the Month Club’s favorite pick, The Hidden Truth of Your Name (pub.1999 Ballantine Books) which ranks #171,279 in sales. Author of several articles on hypnotherapy for the magazine Conscious Living, Ms. Deyo taught Developing Your ESP in local colleges. Another source of writing was her Mindfulness workshop in 2006 in Plum Village, France with the famous Buddhist activist Thich Nach Hahn. In 2004, Ms. Deyo made guest appearances on radio and local television giving predictions to call-in-listeners. She accurately identified the past history of the radio station building by seeing ghosts in the hallway outside the broadcast room! Coincidentally, Patricia Evans featured her alongside John Edwards in the book Psychic NY.  More recent publicity includes the February 2008 issue on psychics in Time Out NY as well as the hilarious article on line by Emily Gould (October 2007 Gawker). Ms. Deyo was also featured in the (Halloween!) issue of About NY and recent issues of Where NY.

Kathleen Deyo is a painter who developed her intuition alongside her creativity. She taught Illustration and Interior Design at Bridgeport University and The College of New Rochelle where she received her Masters Degree and is a certified clinical hypnotherapist. Her murals have been featured in various shelter publications including House Beautiful, Women’s Day and Paint Décor.  She created murals in the homes of opera diva Jessye Norman and the Cooneys of Screen Gems. In January 2008 her paintings were incorporated on the façade of Brasserie Julien on Third Avenue in NYC. She regularly reads there and at Raoul’s on Prince Street, NYC.  She is a member of Society of Illustrators and Author’s Guild.  She has done readings for Miriam Weinstein of Miramax films and various celebrities.

Her web sites are www.kathleendeyo.com and www.kathleendeyopsychic.com.  She resides in NYC and is traveling throughout the country with her Joy of Wellness Spa Seminars which are sometimes funny and always a bit scary.
